Job Overview
Pezesha is hiring a dedicated Admin & Collections Officer to support our daily administrative operations and customer loan collections in Uganda. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is adaptable, organized, and eager to grow in the fast-paced fintech industry.
Reporting to: Country Lead – Uganda
Contract Duration: 3 Months (with possibility of extension based on performance)
Key Responsibilities
1. Administrative Support
- Schedule meetings and maintain both physical and digital records
- Coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings
- Track procurement needs, stationery, and office supplies
- Update and maintain contact lists and internal systems
- Support on-the-ground operational tasks as assigned by the Credit Operations Lead
2. Collections Support
- Follow up on outstanding loan repayments via phone or SMS
- Escalate high-risk accounts and recommend action strategies
- Document customer interactions and repayment efforts
- Update daily repayment reports and tracking tools
- Collaborate with tech and credit teams to troubleshoot account issues
- Coordinate with external debt collectors (EDCs), including onboarding and performance monitoring
3. Additional Tasks
- Carry out other administrative or operational duties as needed to support the team
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Fluency in English and Luganda (both written and spoken)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets
- Self-driven with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Previous administrative or customer-facing experience is an added advantage
