Job Description

Pezesha is looking for a highly motivated Admin & Collections Officer to join our fast-growing team in Uganda. This is a great opportunity for an individual eager to contribute to meaningful work in the fintech industry. You will support both administrative operations and customer collections in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Reporting to: Country Lead – Uganda

Contract Duration: 3 Months (Renewable based on performance)

Key Responsibilities

1. Administrative Support

  • Schedule meetings, manage filing, and maintain organized digital and physical records
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings and events
  • Handle procurement and monitor office supplies
  • Maintain and update contact lists, customer records, and internal systems
  • Support Credit Operations Lead with on-the-ground operational tasks

2. Collections Support

  • Contact customers via phone or SMS to follow up on loan repayments
  • Escalate high-risk accounts and recommend follow-up strategies
  • Maintain accurate customer communication logs
  • Update repayment reports and monitor daily collections
  • Work with tech and credit teams to resolve account issues
  • Oversee relationships with external debt collectors, including onboarding and performance tracking

3. Adhoc Tasks

  • Support other administrative and operational functions as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Fluent in English and Luganda (both written and spoken)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Sheets
  • Proactive, accountable, and solution-driven personality
  • Previous experience in administrative or customer-facing roles is an added advantage
