Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization.
  • Perform daily accounting functions, including data entry, invoice processing, and transaction recording.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Participate in the budgeting process and ensure timely submission of budget-related documents.
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations and manage petty cash systems.
  • Assist with tax computations, statutory filings, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support the finance team with audit preparation and documentation.
  • Monitor financial transactions and reporting to identify discrepancies or errors.
  • Provide support in payroll preparation, staff advances, and allowances.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of internal control systems.
  • Handle additional finance and administrative tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (BBA), or a related field from a recognized institution.

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, or Sage.
  • High competency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong numerical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong ethics, integrity, and professionalism in handling financial matters.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing organizational needs.
