Role Purpose
Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda is hiring an Account Developer to drive sales growth, strengthen market presence, and build lasting customer relationships within an assigned territory or channel. The role focuses on consistent execution of trade standards, effective promotions, and quality outlet management to grow market share and improve availability of core packs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1) Sales Growth and Market Expansion

Achieve and consistently exceed sales targets within the assigned territory or channel.

Grow market share by expanding the outlet base and increasing product availability across all mapped outlets.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase market penetration and counter competitor activity.
2) Order Generation and Sell-In Execution

Generate orders and ensure accurate order capture using approved sales tools and processes.

Drive core pack sell-in by maximizing every customer interaction and sales opportunity.

Monitor stock levels and recommend appropriate order quantities to improve availability and reduce stock-outs.
3) Trade Standards and Outlet Execution

Execute trade standards consistently in every outlet to maintain quality, visibility, and compliance.

Implement promotional plans effectively, including trade replacements where required.

Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO where applicable) and uphold quality standards across outlets.
4) Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high service levels and trust.

Respond to customer concerns quickly and resolve issues within agreed timelines.

Provide regular feedback from the market to support better decision-making and improved execution.
Skills, Experience, and Education
Minimum Qualifications
-
Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
-
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, preferably within FMCG.
Competencies and Attributes
-
Strong execution discipline and ability to deliver results consistently.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
-
Energetic, mobile, and target-driven with a strong field presence.

Knowledge of execution standards and trade mathematics.

Digitally competent with the ability to use sales tools and platforms effectively.
