About Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC)
The Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC) is a semi-autonomous Health Professional Regulatory and Supervisory body under the Ministry of Health. Established by the Nurses and Midwives Act, 1996 (CAP 301), the Council is mandated to regulate the standards of nursing and midwifery in Uganda, ensuring the safety and protection of the public.
To strengthen its operations and fulfill its mission effectively, UNMC invites applications from qualified and motivated individuals for the following job opportunities:
