Job Overview

CMS is seeking to hire 12 full-time Cleaners to join our facilities team at New Pearl Business Park in Kampala. The ideal candidates will be dependable, fast-acting, and detail-oriented professionals capable of maintaining a consistently clean and organized working environment. Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting office areas, corridors, washrooms, and public spaces.
• Ensure the regular sanitization of high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, elevator buttons, handrails, and restrooms.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste responsibly according to environmental and facility policies.
• Replenish cleaning supplies, hand soaps, and restroom amenities as needed.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times while on duty.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor promptly.
• Support in preparing conference rooms, lobbies, and public areas for special events or guests.
• Collaborate with other cleaners and maintenance staff to ensure daily goals are achieved efficiently.

Minimum Requirements

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a commercial or institutional setting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to act quickly and handle cleaning emergencies efficiently.
• Physically fit and able to perform labor-intensive cleaning duties.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays when required.
