About Capital Markets Authority (CMA)
The Capital Markets Authority is a statutory body established under the Capital Markets Authority Act (Cap. 84) to regulate and promote the development of the capital markets industry in Uganda, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and investor protection.
Position Summary
CMA is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join its Graduate Trainee Program in the Information Technology Unit. The selected candidate will gain hands-on experience and exposure in enterprise Information Technology (IT) Management, contributing to the Authority’s digital transformation initiatives and gaining valuable insights into public sector IT operations.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Degree classification must be First Class or Upper Second Class, awarded within the last two (2) years.

Additional professional IT certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.) will be an added advantage.

No prior work experience is required.
