Ntake Bakery and Company Limited (NBCL) was founded in 1978 to address the growing demand for professional bakery services in Uganda. What began as a modest operation with minimal equipment has since evolved into a fully-fledged, high-capacity bakery supplying bread, cakes, pies, and a wide variety of baked goods to the public.

Over the decades, NBCL has transformed into a diversified business group with strategic interests across multiple sectors, including real estate, paper recycling, animal and crop husbandry, purified drinking water, concrete batching, and edible oil refining. These ventures operate as subsidiaries under NBCL, united by a shared vision and guided by a family constitution.
