Job Purpose:
The GPS Mobile Technician is responsible for ensuring proper installation of GPS tracking devices on all company assets i.e. Bikes, cars, tultuks etc.
Key Specific Duties include:
- Installing, servicing, and replacing GPS tracking devices on Company Assets (bikes, tuktuks, cars, etc.)
- Maintaining proper information logs and submitting to assigned supervisor all with GPS tracking device installation connected information – vehicle’s chassis number, plate number, make, model, color, trackers IMEI number, SIM card number, installation date and place. Other information may be requested at any time
- Contacting client and organizing trackers’ service and/or replacement for the bikes whose trackers are malfunctioning
- Delivering the highest-level professional service to the Company clients while keeping tracker’s installation and service information strictly confidential
- Reporting all company related expenses (transport, installation related expenses) in accurate manner
- Carry out other tasks as requested by the company management
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or National Diploma in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and with experience and Knowledge on using GPS Sytems
- Must have Organisational and strong Communication skills
- Must be able to ride well a motorcycle and possess a valid driving permit class A
- Must be able to speak Languages such as English, Lugisu, Runyoro, Swahili, Alur, Acholi, Lango and Acholi etc
- Ability to work Independently with limited follow-up
- High level of Integrity and accountability
- Detailed Oriented with highly developed sense of reliability and accuracy
- Strong Analytical and Problem solving skills
