Description
Aldelia is hiring a Warehouse Officer responsible for supervising, documenting, and reporting commodity movements while updating the warehouse goods management system. The role ensures all coffee-related activities adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily activities at the designated warehouse.
  • Tally and record loading/offloading of commodities per warehouse SOPs.
  • Update XBS for every stock movement.
  • Share daily stock reports.
  • Comply with and implement safety standards in all warehouse operations.
  • Ensure produce stacks are neat, stable, and have updated stock cards.
  • Maintain a housekeeping schedule, including routine cleaning, cobwebbing, and rodent control.
  • Monitor non-coffee item levels with updated stock cards and tracker; place orders for packaging supplies (e.g., ink, needles, jute bags, seals, stencils).
  • Organize stocks for routine end-of-month stock checks.
  • Liaise daily with the Logistics Department for coffee trucking and loading orders.
  • Plan and confirm receipt of coffee from the factory for storage or stacking per processing batch.
  • Supervise coffee bagging, ensuring each bag meets required weight standards.
  • Ensure weighing scales are calibrated before use.
  • Collaborate with the Quality team during all loading, offloading, and processing activities.
  • Coordinate with host service providers for smooth operations at the assigned station.
  • Perform any other official duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Competencies Language Skills
  • Proficient in English and any other local languages.
Professional Expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inventory management.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems.
  • Knowledge of coffee and/or cocoa is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proactive and self-driven.
