EBC is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Finance to lead its financial operations and provide strategic direction to ensure sustainable business growth. This executive-level position is ideal for a highly skilled finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about driving financial performance, risk management, and strategic planning.

The Head of Finance will serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team, offering insights and financial leadership to support long-term business objectives while maximizing profitability and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

As the Head of Finance at EBC, your role will include:

  • Developing and executing the company’s financial strategy in line with overall business goals.

  • Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and leadership team on budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.

  • Overseeing the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial reports such as balance sheets, cash flow statements, and income statements.

  • Leading the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate strategy.

  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, accounting standards, and internal policies.

  • Managing internal and external audits, maintaining financial integrity and transparency.

  • Designing and implementing effective financial controls and risk management frameworks.

  • Monitoring and mitigating financial risks, including currency, market, and interest rate risks.

  • Driving a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and financial discipline across the finance team.

  • Advising on investment opportunities, capital structure, and funding strategies to support growth.


Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).

  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA (mandatory).

  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years at senior executive level.

  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial regulations, and accounting standards.

  • Proven track record in financial planning, risk management, and strategic decision-making.

  • Experience in international markets and cross-border financial operations is an added advantage.

  • Preferably, industry experience in the telecommunications or financial services sector.

  • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at executive level.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

  • High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.

  • Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
