About the Role

The KPI & Performance Engineer will play a critical role in monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing production asset performance to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry regulations. You will be responsible for identifying trends in production data, implementing solutions that maximize output, and ensuring long-term asset reliability.

Key Responsibilities

As the KPI & Performance Engineer, your main duties will include:

• Monitoring and analyzing production data to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Designing and implementing strategies to enhance equipment performance and increase production output.

• Collaborating with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve production-related challenges.

• Conducting root cause analyses of performance deviations and ensuring corrective measures are implemented effectively.

• Preparing detailed technical reports, including insights, recommendations, and actionable solutions for management.

• Supporting asset integrity and reliability programs to ensure long-term operational sustainability.

• Evaluating and recommending new technologies, tools, or methodologies that can improve operational efficiency.

• Ensuring all activities comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.

• Assisting in the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monitoring progress against targets.

• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and workflows across the organization.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in oil and gas operations, engineering, or performance management.

• Proficiency in professional English (fluency in Chinese will be an added advantage).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to interpret complex data sets.

• Hands-on experience with data analysis tools and production monitoring software.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.

• Solid understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards in oil and gas operations.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and fast-paced environments.
