We are seeking Newspaper Agents who are energetic and have passion for the newspaper business. The successful partners will be required to drive newspaper sales through market expansion and increasing availability of Monitor Publications in the markets which include Mbarara & Ankole region, Bugolobi in Kampala, Bweyo-gerere & Kira region in Wakiso, Arua District based in Arua town and Soroti District-Karamoja region based in Soroti Town.
REQUIREMENTS
- A registered company/agent that is compliant with statutory requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of the market that respective applicants are interested in.
- Ability to work odd hours and to interact with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Bank or cash guarantee equivalent to one month supplies ranging from UGX 10 million to UGX 50 million, as determined by the allocated market size.
- Working capital equivalent to one week supplies ranging from UGX 2 million to UGX 15 million.
- Operation staff such as cashier, drivers/clerks, riders and vendors.
- Premises with internet connectivity and ability to set up satellite offices in the allocated market.
- Working knowledge and/or experience in running a distribu-torship is a distinct advantage.
