Description
Mildmay Institute of Health Sciences is hiring a Janitor to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the MIHS premises, ensuring a safe, tidy, welcoming, and clean environment for students, staff, and visitors, thereby promoting a positive institutional image.
Reporting to: Student Affairs Coordinator
Expected Key Result Areas:
- Maintain a Clean, Safe, and Hygienic Environment Across MIHS Facilities
- Support Set-up and Maintenance of Clean and Attractive Venues for MIHS Events and Guests
- Manage Linen to Prevent Cross-Infection and Ensure Availability of Clean Items
- Participate in Departmental Administrative Activities to Support Operational Efficiency
- Uganda Certificate of Education (O’ Level).
- A certificate in housekeeping, hygiene, or a related field is an added advantage.
- A Minimum of 1-year of hands-on experience in cleaning services, preferably in an institutional setting such as a school, hospital, or training institute.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene, sanitation standards, and use of cleaning materials/equipment.
