Position: Administration and Logistics Officer
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Reports to: Administration Supervisor

Job Summary

BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administration and Logistics Officer to support day-to-day administrative operations, coordinate asset management, and ensure efficient delivery of goods and services to staff and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily administrative tasks in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
  • Track usage and condition of assets including vehicles, generators, and equipment.
  • Apply BRAC Uganda Bank policies and procedures in all admin-related functions.
  • Monitor and report vehicle fuel consumption; maintain accurate fuel usage records.
  • Collaborate with the team to manage tenancy agreements at all branches and ensure timely renewals.
  • Support audit readiness by maintaining documentation, conducting self-assessments, and resolving audit issues.
  • Maintain accurate stock registers and track inventory levels.
  • Receive, inspect, and document supplies from vendors based on approved purchase orders.
  • Distribute supplies to branches and departments as per requests.
  • Work with procurement to resolve delivery issues and discrepancies.
  • Ensure safe storage and handling of inventory to prevent damage or loss.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role within a busy administrative or logistics environment.
  • Professional certifications in administration, procurement, or supply chain are an added advantage.
