We are currently looking for an experienced and skilled Contract Commercial Manager to join our team in Kampala, Uganda.

Job Summary

The Contract Commercial Manager will be responsible for ensuring high-quality contract management, including reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts. The role requires a deep understanding of commercial, financial, legal, and telecom frameworks, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders on critical projects and risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the quality of contracts at the representative office level, including establishing contract baselines and improvement targets.
• Identify opportunities for contract enhancement and lead efforts to improve commercial terms and reduce risk exposure.
• Review and draft contracts to ensure legal and operational compliance.
• Negotiate terms on key projects, addressing commercial and legal risks effectively.
• Participate in SDT operations, support sales project reviews, and develop authorization solutions for key decision-making.
• Maintain customer relationships related to contractual and commercial matters.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field (required).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial contract management, preferably in telecom, IT, or engineering sectors.
• Proven understanding of telecom operations and contract frameworks.
• Knowledge in commercial, legal, and financial contract structures.
• Strong contract reading, drafting, and negotiation skills.
• Experience using contract management tools and following structured processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Candidate Profile

• Detail-oriented and organized professional with excellent time management.
• Proactive approach to identifying contract risks and opportunities.
• Ability to work in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
• Strong commercial acumen and customer relationship capabilities.

Working Conditions

• Work Hours: 8 hours per day
• Experience: 3+ years (36 months minimum)
• Level of Education: Bachelor’s Degree
• Location: Kampala, Uganda
