Job Summary

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver laboratory samples, test results, and consumables to and from clinics, labs, hospitals, and patient homes.
• Ensure proper handling and transportation of materials, especially temperature-sensitive samples.
• Maintain accurate delivery and collection records using logs or digital tools.
• Obtain required signatures and maintain proper documentation for all deliveries and pickups.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality protocols.
• Comply with all traffic regulations and company policies while on duty.
• Conduct daily inspections of the assigned motorcycle and report any issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service to healthcare personnel and patients.
• Promptly resolve delivery issues or escalate them when needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid motorcycle license (Class A) with a clean riding record.
• Good phlebotomy skills are essential.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in the healthcare or medical courier industry.
• Basic knowledge of medical sample handling and cold chain protocols is an added advantage.
• Minimum of O-Level (UCE) education with a certificate in medical laboratory science or a related medical field.
