Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound and receive inbound calls to customers with overdue accounts.
- Remind customers courteously about outstanding payments and due dates.
- Accurately update customer records, call logs, and payment arrangements in the system.
- Engage in phone-based sales activities to collect payments and resolve tracker-related issues.
- Meet daily and monthly call/contact and collection targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, data privacy laws, and regulatory standards.
- Deliver professional, empathetic, and solution-oriented customer service.
- Escalate problematic accounts or unresolved customer concerns to supervisors.
- Maintain a positive tone even during challenging customer interactions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in call centers, customer service, or collections preferred.
- Proficient in computer applications and CRM systems.
- Fluent in at least one or more of the following languages: Luganda, Runyakitara, Swahili, or Luo.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage conflict professionally.
- Empathetic, patient, and customer-centered mindset.
