We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and self-driven individual to join our team as a Cashier/Biller. This role is critical to ensuring accurate billing and financial accountability across both Outpatient (OPD) and Inpatient (IPD) departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Billing Management: Generate and verify all patient bills promptly—includes interim billing, final invoicing, and insurance claim forms.
• Cash Handling: Collect payments, issue receipts, and ensure the safe and accurate processing of transactions (cash, mobile money, or bank).
• Admission Coordination: Register patients, input correct information into the system, and manage pre-authorizations for insured patients.
• Customer Service: Respond to patient inquiries, resolve billing complaints, and communicate clearly about billing processes and policies.
• Reporting and Liaison: Prepare and submit end-of-shift reports, collaborate with doctors, nurses, and lab staff, and ensure unpaid bills are flagged and followed up.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A diploma or degree in a business-related field such as Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• At least one year of relevant experience in cashiering or billing roles, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and integrity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment and handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
