Job Description
Vermipro Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial systems and processes. Reporting to: Finance Manager Workplace: Vermipro Head Office, 26 Chorley Crescent, LuziraKey Responsibilities
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
- Create and update expense reports
- Process reimbursement forms
- Prepare bank deposits
- Enter financial transactions into internal databases
- Check spreadsheets for accuracy
- Maintain digital and physical financial records
- Issue invoices to customers and external partners
- Review and file payroll documents
- Participate in quarterly and annual audits
Qualifications & Skills
- Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
- Familiarity with finance regulations
- Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally)
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Semi-qualified professional accountancy qualification/ATD/Level 2 CPA
Salary Offer
Gross monthly salary range: UGX 800,000 to 1,000,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)Application Process
