Operating under the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance and managed by the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), UICT is committed to becoming a Centre of Excellence in ICT education, training, innovation, and research. Located at Plot 9–21 Port Bell Road, Nakawa, UICT invites qualified and passionate professionals to apply for the following vacancies:

Available Positions (19 Vacancies)

 

• Consultant, Business Development, Projects and Partnerships (1) Leads resource mobilization, strategic partnerships, and projects. Requires Master’s in Business/Project Management and 7+ years' experience.
• Senior Officer – Procurement (1) Manages procurement processes under PPDA. Requires a degree in Procurement and CIPS certification.
• Senior Officer – Legal (1) Provides legal advice and contract management. Must hold an LLB, PGD in Legal Practice, and have 5+ years of experience.
• Senior Consultant – Research, Innovation & Projects (1) Drives innovation and research initiatives. Master’s/PhD in ICT or Innovation and a solid research portfolio required.
• Officer – Administration (1) Coordinates administrative tasks and logistics. Requires Bachelor’s in Administration or Management.
• Registry Assistant (1) Maintains academic records and registration support. Diploma in Records Management and experience needed.
• Driver (1) Operates UICT vehicles and assists in logistics. Valid driver’s license and 3+ years’ experience required.
• Senior Library Assistant (1) Supports library users and manages information resources. Bachelor’s in Library Science and experience required.
• Lecturer – ICT & Engineering (4) Delivers academic instruction and research. Master’s in relevant field and teaching experience required.
• Chief Laboratory Technician (1) Oversees lab operations and safety. Requires relevant degree or Higher Diploma and 5+ years’ experience.
• Manager – Digital Transformation (1) Leads digital innovation and automation projects. Master’s in IT/Digital Transformation and 7+ years’ experience required.
• Academic Head of Department – ICT (1) Oversees ICT curriculum and faculty. Master’s/PhD and 5+ years’ teaching/leadership experience required.
• Senior Officer – Internal Audit (1) Conducts audits and ensures controls. Bachelor’s in Accounting with CPA/ACCA certification and 5+ years’ experience required.
• Officer – Research and Innovation (1) Coordinates research and student innovation. Bachelor’s in ICT or Research with 3+ years’ experience required.
• Custodian (1) Maintains facility cleanliness and order. O-Level Certificate and relevant experience needed.
• Accounts Assistant (1) Manages financial records and transactions. Diploma in Accounting/Finance and 2+ years’ experience required.
• Officer – Quality Assurance (1) Monitors academic and operational quality. Degree in Quality Management/Education and 3+ years of experience required.
• Customer Relations Assistant (1) Handles inquiries and front-office support. Diploma in Marketing/Communication with 2+ years’ experience required.
• Assistant Lecturer – ICT & Engineering (1) Assists in teaching and mentorship. Bachelor’s with First Class/Upper Second and pursuing Master’s.
