We are seeking a diligent Clearing & Forwarding Officer to join our team in Kampala. The successful candidate will handle all import and export processes for vehicles, ensuring accurate preparation and submission of documentation, coordinating with customs authorities, and managing logistics to guarantee timely vehicle delivery.Key Responsibilities
- Manage import and export documentation and procedures for vehicles.
- Coordinate with customs officials to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Oversee the clearing and forwarding process to prevent delays.
- Ensure smooth logistics management for vehicle transportation.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to shipments.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in clearing and forwarding, import/export, and logistics management.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in documentation handling and compliance assurance.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently under pressure.
- Relevant educational background in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
