Regional Coordinator – Agri Finance Product

Platinum Credit (U) Ltd, a leading financial institution in Uganda, is looking for a competent and motivated Regional Coordinator – Agri Finance Product to drive the growth and performance of its Agriculture Finance Loan portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for regional sales performance, strategy implementation, and team development across multiple branches.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent knowledge of direct sales strategies, and a passion for serving rural and agribusiness customers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective regional sales strategies to meet monthly and quarterly targets for loan portfolio growth, portfolio at risk (PAR), and active loan officer performance.

• Lead, manage, and support a team of Branch Managers and Sales Officers to drive customer acquisition and retention in the Agri Finance segment.

• Approve and monitor execution of marketing route plans to ensure coverage and reach in rural/agricultural zones.

• Conduct daily early bird sessions at branches to align teams, boost morale, and foster continuous improvement.

• Promote employee development and succession planning through empowerment, mentoring, and high-performance culture building.

• Regularly train and coach sales teams to improve performance and loan quality.

• Monitor and analyze loan rejection rates, ensuring rejections are consistently kept below 10% through proper oversight and corrective action on recurring issues.

• Drive compliance to lending policies and ensure customer satisfaction in the region.

Required Qualifications and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Agriculture, Marketing, or any related field.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a financial institution or agriculture finance environment.

• A professional qualification or training in sales, marketing, or agricultural finance is an added advantage.

Key Competencies and Skills

• Proven sales management and team leadership experience in direct sales environments.

• Strong numerical, analytical, and reporting skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools especially Excel, Word, and email communication.

• Strong customer service orientation, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to work in a performance-driven environment.
