Job Summary:

The Little Cafe in Kisaasi is seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our kitchen team as Luwombo Cooks. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a vibrant restaurant environment that celebrates Ugandan cuisine. You will play a key role in preparing and presenting traditional Luwombo dishes with authenticity and flavor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of Luwombo dishes according to traditional recipes
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and food safety are maintained
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain consistency in taste and presentation
• Assist with kitchen cleaning and maintenance duties
• Contribute to menu development with creative ideas based on traditional cooking techniques

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field (preferred)
• Willingness to learn and adapt to traditional Ugandan cooking methods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Passion for Ugandan food and culture
