We are currently looking for a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Store Nutritionist stationed at our Acacia Mall outlet. This position focuses on the specialized aisles dealing with food supplements, bodybuilding products, and other health-specific items within our retail store.

Position Overview

The Store Nutritionist will serve as a key health and nutrition advisor to shoppers. While this role is not equivalent to that of a clinical dietician, it plays a critical part in providing evidence-based, practical nutrition advice within the retail setting. The selected candidate will engage with customers, create personalized dietary plans, and recommend relevant health products to support wellness and disease prevention across various age groups.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement and Product Support

• Engage with customers on the shop floor, providing knowledgeable and friendly nutrition advice.
• Assist customers in identifying the right supplements and health products based on their goals, dietary restrictions, and preferences.
• Educate shoppers on product benefits and appropriate usage while ensuring clarity and transparency.

Personalized Meal and Diet Planning

• Create customized meal plans that cater to specific health goals, conditions, and lifestyle requirements.
• Recommend nutrition strategies for weight management, muscle building, energy boosting, and general wellness.
• Ensure recommendations align with the customer’s current medical treatments or nutritional needs without replacing clinical guidance.

Team Knowledge Sharing

• Conduct brief sessions or share tips with team members to enhance their understanding of product categories and nutrition fundamentals.
• Support the team by providing insights into emerging nutrition trends and how they relate to store offerings.

Cross-Selling Relevant Products

• Advise on complementary health products to improve customer outcomes and satisfaction.
• For example, recommend sugar-free alternatives to diabetic customers or plant-based protein options for vegan shoppers.
• Support store goals by increasing the visibility and relevance of underutilized health products.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A diploma or degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or a related health field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of health supplements, functional foods, and dietary strategies.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex nutrition concepts.
• Sales-oriented with a proactive approach to helping customers make informed choices.
• Familiarity with current health and nutrition trends, including plant-based diets, ketogenic diets, and supplement protocols.
• Ability to adapt to a retail environment and balance health advice with business objectives.

• High levels of customer engagement and satisfaction in the nutrition and wellness product categories.
