Position Overview

Jubilee Allianz General Insurance Company Uganda is seeking a skilled and results-driven Management Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic business partner—translating financial data into actionable insights to support performance improvement, cost optimization, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct strategic financial planning, analysis, and forecasting to inform executive decision-making.

• Lead budgeting and financial reporting processes.

• Optimize costs through in-depth financial review and process improvement.

• Support investment research and portfolio management with financial modeling and performance analysis.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, governance standards, and internal audit requirements.

• Oversee accounting operations and support audit processes.

• Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the life insurance sector, particularly in Corporate Business and Pensions.

• Proven background in management accounting or audit.

• Strong understanding of financial principles, risk assessment, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Excellent analytical, presentation, and leadership skills.

• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, or a Mathematics-related discipline.

• ACCA or CPA qualification with active membership is required.

• A Master’s degree in a finance-related field is an added advantage.
